Social Inclusion is the new banner for social reform in Australia. But what is it? Are we simply following a ‘New Labour’ fashion or can we develop an authentic Australian version of social inclusion. How will it be different to social policy in the Howard era? What are its implications for future economic and social policy?

This first international symposium on social inclusion in Australia will be essential for all those seeking answers to these questions.

The symposium will feature:
