PROCEEDING BOOKLETS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE NOW...
The Symposium Organising Committee is pleased to announce the Proceeding Booklets are now available for purchase. The books contain a written paper of each presentation from the 2007 Australasian Dairy Science Symposium and will be a valuable resource.

A limited number of books are available and will be allocated on a first ordered basis. The costs of the booklets are AUD$75 (inc GST and P&H) for all Symposium delegates and AUD$100 (inc GST and P&H) for others. To order please complete the order form and fax back to +61 3 8344 0013.

The Symposium Organising Committee has planned an exciting program centered on the theme “Meeting the challenge for pasture-based dairying”.

The program objectives of the 2007 Symposium are to:

review the scientific knowledge underpinning sustainable pasture-based dairy production and identify key areas where new knowledge is required to maintain the competitive advantage of the New Zealand and Australian dairy industries;
build the capacity of the Australian and New Zealand dairy science communities, to ensure their research and development work continues to place Australasian dairy farmers at advantage;
provide a forum for information exchange and networking amongst Australian and New Zealand dairy scientists, and encourage Trans-Tasman research collaboration;
provide a forum for young / early career scientists to develop their skills and capacity.

The program will appeal to all those involved in dairy research on both sides of the Tasman (and potentially, in other countries). It should also appeal to those involved as professionals servicing the dairy industry as advisers, consultants or educators.
